So, this is a day late, but I was kinda busy yesterday as I baked muffins for the first half of the day (got to miss classes AND hang out with friends = awesome!) and the school's annual Highland Games was on that night too. And today am all bunged up and tired with bad hayfever. Shoot :(
Anyway, this teaser has been taken from Theresa Breslin's Remembrance, which I'm loving!
Goya had used rich colours and a variety of tones in his paintings of Spanish court life, and had then developed the tortuous dark drawings and etchings depicting war. The violent twisted shapes assaulted Maggie's eyes and then some extracts from his letters caught her attention.
This sounds like an Art lesson, when in fact the book so far has pretty much nothing to do with art :L
Hope you liked the teaser!
